Transforming my father’s hands into expanded skin texture maps, I transferred them onto my hands through hydrographic printing. In two video segments, I immerse myself once again in the assembly labor of the clothing factory; in another segment of the video, peeling away this layer of skin and departing.
The shared bodily memories embody our ongoing experience of migration, intertwined with the brief parent-child dialogue.
